Screenplay Coverage Report

Give your screenplay a better chance of being accepted.  A strong pre-submission assessment of your work could make the difference between acceptance and rejection. Remember! A professional coverage report is one of the most important aspects in the process of getting your screenplay accepted.  Other than a few rare exceptions, nobody reads scripts in Hollywood - they read 'Coverage  Reports.'

Studio Standard Coverage Report - $125.00

Many production executives and agents rely on coverage reports before responding to writers regarding the material submitted. The report will include:

  • Analysis and story notes on your screenplay will be emailed to you prior to emailing  completed report in Word of our Studio Standard Coverage Report.

  • Collaboration on a 'marketing' synopsis of your screenplay.

  • Collaboration on an enticing log line succinctly describing your screenplay.

  • An intelligent 'comment and critique' of your screenplay.

  • A determination of the viability of the material touching upon several areas such as budget, characterizations, premise, storyline and dialogue.

  • An honest  assessment of your screenplay on a 'consider',  'recommend' or 'pass' basis.  If your material is rated a 'recommend', or 'consider',  we will alert our short list of production companies with whom we have established good relations.

  • Email announce all 'consider' or 'recommend' material to our master list of 2700+ production companies.

The submission process is simple: You must submit your screenplay along with your synopsis and logline,  with a signed Writers Guild of America WRITER'S REPORT RELEASE FORM

It is important that you submit your synopsis and logline so we can get an understanding of what YOU think your screenplay is all about.

Allow three weeks for the initial pre-coverage notes and comments of your material. Coverage will be in standard form that will include a TITLE PAGE with  one to three sentence LOG LINE, along with one to three page SYNOPSIS of your screenplay and a one page COMMENT and CRITIQUE with suggested action of CONSIDER,  RECOMMEND or PASS.
